  1. I was wondering if there was a way to add social media sites. For instance, I want to add JapanSoc.com, a “digg” like site for Japanese related media.

In version 1.6.0 (The most recent) you can add extra bits of html in the “Extra bit of HTML” template which would let you add extra social icons for other websites.

However, in the next release (1.6.1) I intend to add a feature to let users (and template sets) add their own templates.

Is there a way to not use the short URLs? I would like the full url in my post on twitter. thanks.

  4. I’ve added the plugin but don’t see any changes; I’m thinking it has to do with the cURL requirement. What is cURL And how do I enable it in WordPress? Thanks in advance for your help.

To enable cURL, you need to uncomment it in the php.ini file then restart Apache and PHP. In most cases you will need to ask your web host to do this for you. If you need more help stackoverflow (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1347146/how-to-enable-curl-in-php) has a question on this topic.

  7. Nice plugin!
Would be great if bit.ly would be added as an url-shorterner in the next version.

I’ve been working on adding bit.ly, the problem is it requires a API key which I’m not sure I’m allowed to share. I will do my best though to get it in one way or another.

How do I remove the border around the icons. I tried changing the templates in the settings (border=”0″ but it didn’t seem to do anything.

  12. Hi, I’ve installed the newest version of the plugin and everything works awesome, except it doesn’t send my new posts to my twitter account. My host says it supports cURL and should already be on…do you have any idea how to get this part working? I was using TwitterPost plugin originally to send my posts and it worked, but not sure if they required the same tech or not.

    Fixed – Sorry about that.
