Hi, I just installed this very nice plugin but have a little problem with url encoding. Everything seems to work nice but not the facebook ‘Like’ button. I tried to use %permalink%, %raw_permalink% and %short_url%. All of them are rejected by facebook. (“URL does not exist”.) Any idea how to fix this?

Ooops. Sorry. This bug seems to be a ‘facebook bug’:

I found another bug: Using bit.ly for url shortening all my links are followed by a return (%OA) within the databese as well as in my %short_url%s. The problem can be fixed by overwriting custom field entries but may be you like to fix it within the plugin, too?

    Hey Mike,

Thanks for the great plugin. Question, what’s your recommended method for using customized icons or icon sets? Thanks again.

Add them via a XML file – I really need to document them but if you look at the example.stset.xml file you should be able to understand what to do.

Greetings. Just downloaded the plugin and it works, but I can’t get the kb icons to install. I tick the box and it moves them to the installed box, but the icons do not appear above for selection. Also, I have read here that I can install a custom set. How is this accomplish this?

    Thanks for the hard work.

Hi, I installed the plugin in WP3.0 so that my blogpost will be automatically posted on my Twitterpage. But when I try to enable Notify Twitter, it says Twitter authentication failed. Where do I need to fill in my username and password then?

    • Mike said:

Fixed :) Please update to the newest version.

        Thanks! Very nice.

  8. First off love the plugin, but I did notice that with the last version all the links had the rel=”nofollow” tag and now the seem to be missing. Anyway to get those back again? Thanks in advance.

I’m glad you like my plugin. To add the rel=”nofollow” to the widgets templates go to:
      YOUR_WP_ADMIN_URL/options-general.php?page=socialize-this/socialize-this.php&module=templates
On this page, you should be able to edit the html for the links and add rel=”nofollow” :)

      • Awesome, thanks again for the plugin and also for the super quick reply.

    Hello,

Great plugin! Just one thing I’m noticing… for some reason, the facebook like button is being added twice…

    Hey there,
This looks like it should be a great plugin. Only having two issues. When I use the Twitter and the Digg widgets, it duplicates them several times and cascades them down the page. It does it in every browser except Chrome.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Lake Boss
